Hipop is a comprehensive three-sided marketplace platform that connects vendors, shoppers, and market organizers in the local pop-up market ecosystem. Our app facilitates discovery, booking, payment processing, ticket sales, and analytics across all user types.

3. Market Organizers ($69/month premium tier)

Create and manage market events
Recruit and approve vendors
Sell event tickets through the platform

Premium: Advanced reporting, vendor directory access, bulk communications

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe
Subscription billing is automated and recurring monthly
Event ticket sales processed through Stripe with instant confirmation
Payment methods include cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
All transactions are encrypted and PCI compliant
Vendors and organizers receive payouts directly via Stripe Connect
Platform fees: 5-6% on ticket sales and market applications
Refunds are processed according to our refund policy

Subscriptions and Billing

Premium subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 7-day free trial for new premium subscribers. No refunds for partial months.

Analytics and Data Usage

We collect usage data to improve platform performance
Analytics help vendors understand customer engagement
Market organizers receive attendance and vendor performance metrics
All data collection complies with GDPR, CCPA, and privacy regulations
Users can request data deletion per privacy laws

Marketplace Rules

Market organizers must provide accurate event information
Users are responsible for their own transactions and agreements
Hipop facilitates connections but does not guarantee outcomes
Ticket sales are final unless event is cancelled by organizer
Vendors must comply with local health and safety regulations

Platform Responsibilities

Maintain secure, reliable platform access
Process payments and subscriptions accurately
Provide customer support and dispute resolution
Protect user data and privacy
Ensure platform compliance with applicable laws
Facilitate refunds for cancelled events

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Create fake or misleading profiles
Engage in fraudulent transactions or chargebacks
Harass or discriminate against other users
Attempt to circumvent payment processing or platform fees
Share account credentials with others
Use automated systems to scrape or access the platform
Infringe on intellectual property rights

Account Registration

You must register for an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your account, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of their content
Hipop has license to use content for platform operations
Respect copyright and trademark rights
Report violations to hipopmarkets@gmail.com
We may remove content that violates intellectual property rights

Liability Limitations

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: Hipop Markets is not responsible for disputes between users. We do not guarantee vendor or market quality. Users participate at their own risk. Maximum liability is limited to subscription fees paid in the past 12 months. No warranty for uninterrupted service access.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Account Termination

We may suspend accounts for terms violations
Users may cancel subscriptions anytime
Data deletion available upon request
Refunds subject to refund policy
Unpaid fees may result in account suspension

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Current version always available at hipopmarkets.com/terms.

By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS notifications from Hipop Markets, you agree to the following:

SMS Opt-In Checkbox (As Displayed During Signup)

Receive SMS text messages

I agree to receive SMS from Hipop Markets about my account, applications, and updates. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

This checkbox appears during account registration. It is unchecked by default - users must actively opt in.

Message Types: You may receive SMS messages about your vendor application status, approval notifications, payment reminders, and important updates related to your market participation.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity. Typically 1-5 messages per application.
Opt-In Method: You opt in by checking the dedicated SMS consent checkbox during account registration on our mobile app or website. This checkbox is separate from our Terms of Service and email preferences.
Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT to any message. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.
Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
